Supremely dark and majestic, SUSPIRAL's music is a coalescence of frantic guitar-working and mesmerizing, noisy solos raising from chaos like bloody spears pointed at a black hole sky. The band's apocalyptic and unmerciful assault is tempered by the obscure, trance-inducing aura of the melodies, and by a well-structured songwriting, so dense of shades, sonic details and unexpected twists and turns that the 33 minutes of "Delve Into The Mysteries Of Transcendence" end up looking like an odyssey. The purpose is to explore the true depths of darkness instead of safely swimming on its surface, like too many bands are content to do. But SUSPIRAL have no fear to drown: they bravely jump into the vacuum, sure to ascend.
By now, TEMPLE NIGHTSIDE require little to no introduction. Begun in 2010 by mainman IV - whose experience in the fertile Australian black metal underground is vast in itself - to explore a more blackened version of ancient death metal, the band's initially self-described "Ritualistic Death Metal Necromancy" eventually morphed into more atmospheric and more deeply cavernous shapes, culminating in 2016's critically acclaimed The Hecatomb. But such acclaim matters not to TEMPLE NIGHTSIDE, and the now-quartet next explored their past with the foul 'n' fascinating Recondemnation in 2018, which was a reimagining of their 2013 Condemnation debut album.
Regular version on 7" black vinyl limited to 350 copies. Comes with insert + download code.
The wait is over!!! "Baptized In The Grave" brings three brand new tracks prepared especially for that release. Master class of horror/gore swe-death metal - The Dead Goats!!!
Germany?s The Fog is an intense three-piece unit that plays some very good Doom/Death metal.
THE FOG down pick away to destruction on Perpetual Blackness. The vocals on here are quite intense. The occasional uppicks and transition riffs scale up the fretboard punk-style. I?d perhaps describe their style as venerable doom act COFFINS meets Finland?s underrated Lantern in a back alley brawl. If you?re a fan of doom/death, this is one record to check out.
Decimating the godhead to its insipid form, on March 29th, Triumvir Foul returns with its third legion of the triumvirate under the Vrasubatlat banner – the Urine of Abomination. This EP is being released in conspiracy with Invictus Productions on CD, 12" vinyl, and cassette tape formats, with 20 Buck Spin handling manufacturing & distribution in North America.
Triumvir Foul returns after their short lull from Spiritual Bloodshed with a four-song exhibition showcasing their more caustic elements to date. Again slightly departing in theme, the Urine of Abomination takes a direct approach in discussing the obliteration of the godhead and humiliating him in piss. Sonically, Urine of Abomnination carries on the sound of Triumvir Foul's more traditional death metal tendencies found on their demo An Oath of Blood and Fire and fuses it with more bestial black/death destruction. Urine of Abomination is the amalgamation of aural hell and fetishistic indignation – admonish the godhead and drown it in piss.

In an era of "old school" underweight hipster revivalists drenched in reverbs and "atmosphere" (that doesn't sound old school at all), VoV comes back after 6 years of riots, line-up genocides and mental breakdowns striking with 2 new death hymns, already released on tape by Unholy Domain records (august 2016) now ready for proper vinyl and mcd (with 4 bonus tracks) format by Everlasting Spew Records. VoV is not revival, VoV is comprised of people who have grown up in the early 90's and you'll clearly hear it.
