"Mincing through the maples" contains some great raw Agathocles tracks that were recorded live on 19th August 2015 at the "Coalition" club in Toronto, Canada. Many of the favorite Agathocles songs are in the setlist and the sound captures all the spirit of this gig. Agathocles had much trouble in Canada, therefore for the band this is a release to say thanks to all the people who have been so helpful, caring and supportive when they played there. You can read the full story at the liner notes written by Jan AG.
A CD that compiles the two demos of this cult Mexican band: "Matter misericordiae" (1993) and "Exothaernium" (1994). Atmospheric Doom/Death Metal with a blackened aura of the highest order like a mix of Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Paradise Lost, Tiamat, Katatonia...
Classic brutal death metal from Turkey, for fans of early SUFFOCATION, a cross between "Effigy of the Forgotten" & "Breeding the Spawns". Reissue version limited to 1000 copies. Sick cover art by Toshihiro Egawa.
Originally formed in Florida in 2006 by former Massacre members Terry Butler & Kam Lee, alongside Down By Law guitarist Sam Williams, Denial Fiend's gruesome horror themed death, thrash spawned the debut album 'They Rise' which was hailed as a cult classic...
"The Absents Presence" by DEVIUS is the fourth Traumatic Records release. The album is a conceptual work about human emotions from a existentialist perspective, dealing primarily with philosophical and psychological reflections on solitude, the loss of someone close, suicide and departure.
Crushing debut full length of this Death Metal band from Chile. Comes in a beautiful A5 (a bit smaller than A5 but bigger than a normal digipack). This band has a technical touch that really impresses me. For fans of IMMOLATION but also of GOJIRA. Almost 50 minutes of really cool stuff.
Archaic, cold, grim Black Metal from Argentina. Melancholic, atmospheric yet brutal Black Metal. A good & Solid work. With members of bands like HORDA PROFANA, ARTES NEGRAS, ex-GRIMA MORSTUA among others.
I'm sure you already know this band if you are familiar with Chilean / Southamerican Death Metal. If you like MELEKTAUS you will love this one. If you like IMMOLATION, you can't miss this one. With members of DOMINUS XUL, MELEKTAUS TOTTEN KORPS or DOMINUS XUL, this band simply kills. No more words needed. Killer.
This is a collaboration of 2 of Spain's best extreme metal bands. GRAVEYARD (Death Metal) and KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR (Black Thrash Metal). GRAVEYARD contribute with 2 brand new songs, a PARADISE LOST COVER ("Eternal") and a cover of KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR. KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR also feature 2 brand new songs, a 2012 re-recording of "Devoted To Death" and a cover of GRAVEYARD.
In 2013 Doomentia Records released this split in vinyl format. This is the first time ever this release is available in CD format.
Its not easy to find some bands that take you 20-25 years back in times, when Death Metal was only obscure, rotten and ugly. In that aspect ?Tomb of the Mouldered Corpses? sounds like some of the late 80?s American and Scandinavian Death Metal bands....
Established in 2004, Palermo, Italy's Haemophagus have been spreading the death grind disease through two full-length albums plus multiple 7" and CD splits. "Necromantical Death Grind: the Early Years" features all the records they have released between 2004 and 2007. Packed with with abominable band pics, flyers, extensive liner notes and a front artwork drawn by artist Marco Failla, this repulsive piece of plastic shows Haemophagus' innards for all to smell and see. Out on Despise the Sun records exclusively.
