Crushing debut full length of this Death Metal band from Chile. Comes in a beautiful A5 (a bit smaller than A5 but bigger than a normal digipack). This band has a technical touch that really impresses me. For fans of IMMOLATION but also of GOJIRA. Almost 50 minutes of really cool stuff.
Spawned back in 1996 by Abyssal (bass, voc) and Shogoth (gui), the band preserves the flame of sheer, traditional Black/Death Metal with a suitable dose of melodiousness and a damaging portion of unbound darnkess and utter brutality...
After their successfully debut album back in 2012 the Italian undeads are back in best murderous shape. FDA Records is really proud to release ERODED's brillant new ghoulish full length album 'NECROPATH'. Expect morbid songs, early 90s European Death Metal with a own note and a proper Scandi production.
After a five-year-long hiatus during which the band did not apparently perish in the swamps of mouldy and slugdy death metal, Eternal Rot start where they left off with the Promo 2013. Aptly titled ?Cadaverine?, the album features a four tracks and almost 30 minutes of filthy and dirty, slow to mid-paced hymns of doom and death. Gnarly and slightly distorted vocals, down-tuned guitars and gut-wrenching bass parts, all based on solid drumming, is everything a die hard fan might expect... The horde crawl out of the tomb they have dwelled for the past five years, offering some organ crushing, mind blowing and sickening metal of death stripped to the bone. A true must for any fan of old school masters.
Here you have the debut full-length from EVIL, a four-piece black/speed metal band from Tokyo, Japan. Although the band has existed since 2011 and has previously released two demos and a split CD, its output to this point has been largely overlooked. With ?Rites of Evil,? however, its profile is rightfully promised to rise from the obscurity that is due at least in part to its geographic isolation. Including venerable bands such as Bathory, Hellhammer and Slayer in its list of prominent influences that in all span at least three continents and various subsets of first-wave black metal and satanic speed metal, the ones that shine through the most are early Sodom, Sarcofago, and fellow compatriots Sabbat and a certain, notorious Japanese punk metal band.
....Topped off by a gloriously gory artwork, the album alternates between quasi-Swedish buzz (?Into Obliteration?) and blissfully hideous doom in the vein of Autopsy, at times even blackly blasting as in ?Festering Alive?, constantly swinging and swashbuckling in equal measure. Fast barnstormers like the opening ?Resurrect the Source?, the impossibly catchy ?The Trophy? or the thrash tango that is ?Desolate Animation? brim with both youthful exuberance and the deliberate songcraft you?d expect from seasoned masters ? which Evoked, too, are destined to become....
Darkened, dissonant and furious black metal explorations converge in this 27 minutes debut EP.
?Let?s make one thing clear. We need to stress the fact that our era is lost in a huge void of numbness. We are here to bring and present you what your system could not solve by itself. We?ll cover the daylight with ashes and smash the massive skull that?s blocking your brain and will to evolve. We?re GAEREA.?
Archaic, cold, grim Black Metal from Argentina. Melancholic, atmospheric yet brutal Black Metal. A good & Solid work. With members of bands like HORDA PROFANA, ARTES NEGRAS, ex-GRIMA MORSTUA among others.
Set to be released blasphemously on Christmas Eve 2016, DUNKELHEIT PRODUKTIONEN is proud to present the highly anticipated second album of Germany's GOATBLOOD, ?Veneration of Armageddon?. For the past five years, this chains- and bullet-bedecked power-duo have been polluting the metal underground with their belligerent brand of bestial black/death. A handful of demos as well as a split were vomited forth before GOATBLOOD's momentous debut album, ?Adoration of Blasphemy and War?, in 2015. Ever aptly titled, ?Adoration of Blasphemy and War? soundly put the band on the international map, and proved that new, gnarly twists can be made to the rigorous bestial metal template.
The Finns God Disease created with their long awaited debut album 'Drifting Towards Inevitable Death' the soundtrack to a never-ending winter, full of melancholy and filthy brutality. Expect gnawed-by-rotten-maggots Death/Doom Metal at it's best.
I'm sure you already know this band if you are familiar with Chilean / Southamerican Death Metal. If you like MELEKTAUS you will love this one. If you like IMMOLATION, you can't miss this one. With members of DOMINUS XUL, MELEKTAUS TOTTEN KORPS or DOMINUS XUL, this band simply kills. No more words needed. Killer.
Music wise Gospel of the Horns delivers a thundering old school blasphemous metal. I prefer to call it simply "metal", for two reasons. First, this is pure metal, not infected by any strange influences, it's based on classic instrumentation, played with the passion and understanding of the metal principles. And two, the band takes the equal measures of death, black, thrash and even more extreme heavy metal and melts it into their own music. They play it with savage energy, straightforward attitude and take no prisoners.
