Death Doom explorers Assumption are ready to sink into outer cosmos again! Following their critically acclaimed EP "The Three Appearances" these three new tracks (clocking around 37 minutes) continue developing the psychedelic aura of the italian band to reach a new level of sonic deviation where visionary Floyd-esque sections are combined with extremely heavy, downtempo riffs.
Initially started in 2011 as a studio-project with David on drums and Giorgio on vocals and all the other instruments, Assumption have managed to set up a live line-up throughout the years, sharing stages with bands such as Esoteric, Demilich, Sub Rosa and so on.

Slowly yet surely, CROSS VAULT have built a small-yet-stellar canon of releases that are extremely personal in nature and absolutely poignant in execution and effect. After two acclaimed cult albums - Spectres of Revocable Loss and The All-Consuming in 2014 and 2015, respectively - CROSS VAULT joined with IRON BONEHEAD for the release of a special mini-album, Miles to Take, released in late 2016. Although "just" two songs, this epic short-length was a transitional record in more ways than one: the quintet had solidified its lineup after two members had graduated from "session" status, and the sum result suitably proved stunning, showing how far they could stretch their Viking doom sound whilst keeping it fiercely focused. CROSS VAULT were on the march...
In 1991, Dark Opera was formed in Lodz, Poland, the very same city in which the bands compatriots of similar ilk in Pandemonium had united approximately two years earlier. Dark Operas first year of existence was plagued by several lineup changes, but it stabilized later that year when the band began to write its own songs and played its first live gig in Lomza. The following April, Dark Opera recorded its first demo, "The Day of Pariah", at Ariadna Studio in Lodz. Originally, this cassette was self-released, but the band was later signed by Carnage Records, who released a second iteration of the tape with alternate artwork. In 1993, the band added a second guitarist and recorded its first and only album, "Calling the Legend", in April of that same year. Like the demo that had preceded it, the album was released by another Polish label, Baron Records, who made it available on cassette format only. Like the aforementioned Pandemonium, Dark Operas music was reminiscent of the great Samael and others like Alastis and Taranis, but it also incorporated a somewhat greater influence from both death and doom metal. Nuclear War Now! is proud to be the first to reissue both Dark Opera recordings on vinyl and thus continue its neverending objective of rekindling the great fires once set and then left unattended in the most obscure caverns of the underground.

After a five-year-long hiatus during which the band did not apparently perish in the swamps of mouldy and slugdy death metal, Eternal Rot start where they left off with the Promo 2013. Aptly titled ?Cadaverine?, the album features a four tracks and almost 30 minutes of filthy and dirty, slow to mid-paced hymns of doom and death. Gnarly and slightly distorted vocals, down-tuned guitars and gut-wrenching bass parts, all based on solid drumming, is everything a die hard fan might expect... The horde crawl out of the tomb they have dwelled for the past five years, offering some organ crushing, mind blowing and sickening metal of death stripped to the bone. A true must for any fan of old school masters.
