This new step forward after the release of last year's highly acclaimed "Pillars of Salt" EP, continues to advance BALMOG’s personal approach. Black/death metal, post-punk, traditional metal, psycho-rock...it’s everything and nothing at the same time. After three pure black/death metal albums, BALMOG enriches their sound and creates a vast manifestation of extreme metal music.
American Death-cult BLASPHEMATORY has completed its first long play, released on CD / LP via Nuclear Winter Records!
BLASPHEMATORY is the product of lifelong commitment to extreme music and not the formulaic combination of two or three predictable styles of other bands.
Prepare to meet your Death in the DEPTHS OF THE OBSCURITY.
Hailing from Costa Rica, BLOODSOAKED NECROVOID formed in 2018 and quickly set to work on their first recordings. Two demos followed that year, which were later compiled onto vinyl format as Apocryphal Paths Of The Ancient 8th Vitriolic Transcendence via IRON BONEHEAD in early 2019. Later that year came a limited promo/rehearsal recording a split tape with Ratlord. Through all these suffocating recordings, the duo built a smokestack of charred DEATH so impossibly bleak as to be unbearable. And now, they eclipse that feat with their long-awaited, literally-massive debut album...
The second coming of Convocation brings us the finnish Doom Death band (feat. members of Desolate Shrine and Dark Buddha Rising) at its bleakest and most majestic peak.
Ashes Coalesce is an album of contrasts and confusion, beautiful yet horrifying.
Mesmerizing and gloomy Doom-Death from the most ghastly recesses of Finland. Merging the composing talents of LL from Desolate Shrine with the multi layered vocals of NM from Dark Buddha Rising, Convocation will haunt you and abrade your guts with the most spectral yet punishing tones you could experience!
Slowly yet surely, CROSS VAULT have built a small-yet-stellar canon of releases that are extremely personal in nature and absolutely poignant in execution and effect. After two acclaimed cult albums - Spectres of Revocable Loss and The All-Consuming in 2014 and 2015, respectively - CROSS VAULT joined with IRON BONEHEAD for the release of a special mini-album, Miles to Take, released in late 2016. Although "just" two songs, this epic short-length was a transitional record in more ways than one: the quintet had solidified its lineup after two members had graduated from "session" status, and the sum result suitably proved stunning, showing how far they could stretch their Viking doom sound whilst keeping it fiercely focused. CROSS VAULT were on the march...
In 1991, Dark Opera was formed in Lodz, Poland, the very same city in which the band’s compatriots of similar ilk in Pandemonium had united approximately two years earlier. Dark Opera’s first year of existence was plagued by several lineup changes, but it stabilized later that year when the band began to write its own songs and played its first live gig in Lomza. The following April, Dark Opera recorded its first demo, "The Day of Pariah", at Ariadna Studio in Lodz. Originally, this cassette was self-released, but the band was later signed by Carnage Records, who released a second iteration of the tape with alternate artwork. In 1993, the band added a second guitarist and recorded its first and only album, "Calling the Legend", in April of that same year. Like the demo that had preceded it, the album was released by another Polish label, Baron Records, who made it available on cassette format only. Like the aforementioned Pandemonium, Dark Opera’s music was reminiscent of the great Samael and others like Alastis and Taranis, but it also incorporated a somewhat greater influence from both death and doom metal. Nuclear War Now! is proud to be the first to reissue both Dark Opera recordings on vinyl and thus continue its neverending objective of rekindling the great fires once set and then left unattended in the most obscure caverns of the underground.

Hailing from Melbourne, HECATOMB formed in 2018 as a duo of guitarist Rick Warkill and vocalist/bassist/drummer Mangressor. Crude and rude, the debut demo "Horrid Invocations" was spit forth as a self-released tape in 2020 - and INVICTUS, renown for finding the wildest and most dangerous acts within underground metal, could not help help but release it on a wider scale.
Indeed, Horrid Invocations is exceedingly deserving of wider recognition, and fucking aptly titled: HECATOMB are the bastard sons of Australia's rich 'n' ribald history of metal extremity. From Slaughter Lord, Sadistik Exekution, and Martire on to GOSPEL OF THE HORNS, VOMITOR, and RAZOR OCCAM, HECATOMB dutifully serve the diabolical blood coursing through this undeniable lineage. Loose and lawless, Horrid Invocations presents one berzerker attack after another, swift and salacious at five songs in 22 minutes, as the duo detonate vulgar malformations of black, death, thrash, and unapologetic METAL. It doesn't relent; it doesn't sound nice; it doesn't care for your comfort. Simply, HECATOMB are maniacs for maniacs: if you don't understand the vernacular, then these Horrid Invocations are NOT for you!
With their sophomore incarnation "Summoning The Putrid" the french bringers of rotten OLD SCHOOL DEATH METAL IRON FLESH return from the graves to unleash another fine slab of HM2-MADNESS.
While maintaining the massive wall of sound by the early 90's scandinavian overlords IRON FLESH is not willing to go down as merely tribute to ancient times. They display an amazingly varied songwriting that reminds a lot of classic EDGE OF SANITY magic. Whereas the faster material tend to incorporate sharp melodic riffing that UNANIMATED or CENTINEX in their prime could not have done better, IRON FLESH also delivers some of the finest DEATH-DOOM ever to come out of french soil.
Lucifericon are a study in patience and poise. Founded in 2009, it wasn't until 2012 when the band's first public recording, The Occult Waters EP, reared its shadowy head. Although The Occult Waters was the band's debut, the seemingly "new" Lucifericon was actually comprised of a number of metal scene veterans, its members having done time as Destroyer 666, Pentacle, Malicious Dream, and Excision among others. Naturally, at this stage, the quartet deeply understood the Metal of Death and proceeded to offer a unique, more atmospheric twist on it. Four years later followed another EP, Brimstone Altar, to further critical acclaim. Here, Lucifericon's death metal was blackened to a crisp, its robust recording allowing every evil nuance to spill from the soundfield and further bewitch the eardrums.
Simply but aptly monikered, MALICIOUS are everything their name promises: savage, barbaric, unrelenting, and utterly BERZERK. Formed in 2011 as a four-piece, the band made an auspicious start with the four-song "Mental Illness" demo. But the band’s next strike put the name MALICIOUS on the international metal map: Black Fumes, another four-song recording, which received vinyl, CD, and two different cassette pressings over the next couple years. While those subsequent pressings kept the name in the minds of diehards the world over, MALICIOUS' most malicious strike was still to come…
The notorious deathkultists REVEL IN FLESH have invited none others than the Dutch death/doom metal maniacs GRACELESS to join their "Deathbound"-path in a high class split 7" vinyl, both bands strike back with exclusive new studiomaterial & to top this release you will get another awesome artwork by the master of skulls himself: MARK RIDDICK and mastered by DAN SWANÖ!
Finland's ROTTEN SOUND are one of the titans of modern grind. 'Abuse to Suffer', their first album in five years, sees the rejuvenated band lay down a punishing barrage of hyper-aggressive extremity. The new album is nothing short of a 16-track tour-de-force of prime ROTTEN SOUND; scorching speed, crushing heaviness and some of the most ferocious vocals the genre has ever seen. As 'Abuse to Suffer' so forcefully and immediately illustrates, ROTTEN SOUND are at the very forefront of grindcore.
Hailing from Germany, SANCTIFYING RITUAL formed in 2008. The Sadistic Death demo followed a year later, but it would be another three years before the next demo, Carved in Rotten Remains, arrived. During that time, members were busy with such well-regarded cults as Nocturnal Witch and Division Speed, but SANCTIFYING RITUAL still burned in their black hearts. A four-song EP, Storm of Devastation, arrived in 2013 before the band would remain silent...
Old good black vinyl! The LP features 2 bonus tracks recorded for LP version exclusively! Packed in thick glossy gatefold sleeve with alternate cover painted by Chris Moyen!
8th full-lenght album is typical SATHANAS style that is s powerful, fresh and full of energy, combining the obscurity of Black Metal, rawness of old Death Metal with the intricacies of old school Thrash! Long awaited successor to Nightrealm Apocalypse from 2009, taking the dagger and plunges it right through the heart of the heavens, to watch the skies bleed for forgiveness!
Seventh full length album from US black thrash death metal legends SATHANAS, and with no doubt the strongest release in band’s 20 year history. 10 songs of blasphemy and disgrace played in the obscure, raw old school style casting their evil spells with such titles as Ever Falling Darkness, Demonhellstorm or Black Witching Millennium. The gates are open again and the forces of the dark has been summoned, so be prepared for total demon hell storm in the spirit of old Metal! The album was mixed and mastered by Tore Sternja at Necromorbus Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
