Here you have the debut full-length from EVIL, a four-piece black/speed metal band from Tokyo, Japan. Although the band has existed since 2011 and has previously released two demos and a split CD, its output to this point has been largely overlooked. With ?Rites of Evil,? however, its profile is rightfully promised to rise from the obscurity that is due at least in part to its geographic isolation. Including venerable bands such as Bathory, Hellhammer and Slayer in its list of prominent influences that in all span at least three continents and various subsets of first-wave black metal and satanic speed metal, the ones that shine through the most are early Sodom, Sarcofago, and fellow compatriots Sabbat and a certain, notorious Japanese punk metal band.

The title of this LP says it all. File under pseudo-Galician pseudo-anthropology, anarchist magick, Oliver Reed worship, meditations on coal and steel.

Written, recorded and mixed by No Sanctuary at A Cova Mindoniense except drums, which were recorded by Artur Bite. Mix edited and mastered by Pablo Arricibita.

The solo project of JM Dopico, a veteran underground musician well known for his work with MACHETAZO, BODYBAG or DISHAMMER among many others, who plays all instruments and vocals on the album. "Antihuman" is debut full length and contains 10 songs in around 45 minutes, mixing influences from the glorious 80's heavy metal, doom rock and punk, an unique blend inspired by classic stuff like BLACK SABBATH, CELTIC FROST, MOTÖRHEAD, VOIVOD, SAINT VITUS, KILLING JOKE, MERCYFUL FATE, THE OBSESSED, VENOM, CARNIVORE, AMEBIX...
