Prepare to be pulled into the sewer of the undead as blistering drum blasts and metallic-death-shredding riffs collide in a fury of glorious terror! This is total "Grindcrusher-era" death metal/grindcore in the style of the classic early albums from MORBID ANGEL, NAPALM DEATH, CARCASS, BOLT THROWER, ENTOMBED, TERRORIZER. The terrific 4th full-length by this Italian band. Valgrind was born from the ashes of the ultra-underground act Necrospell in 1993, as a Death/Black Metal project with both extreme and melodic influences. Over the following years, the band released four demos and developed its own style, combining the main influences (Morbid Angel, Pestilence, Death, Nocturnus, Possessed, Monstrosity, Immolation) with a passion for the epically dark atmospheres of bands like Candlemass and early Paradise Lost. Disbanded in 2003, the strong will to return on stage of both founding member/main songwriter Massimiliano Elia and vocalist Daniele Lupidi (also frontman of Hateful) made Valgrind´s return possible in 2008. With the addition of new motivated members, the band released their debut full-length, "Morning Will Come No More", in 2012. The album contained almost one hour of classic Death Metal filled with killer solos, memorable riffs and obscure vocals.
Italian Death Metal worshippers VALGRIND return one year after their widely acclaimed "Speech Of The Flame" with the new blood claiming EP "Seal Of Phobos".
Vocalist & bass player Daniele Lupidi states: "This is probably our most aggressive material to date. All of the four tracks are extremely intense and we decided to go with a different vocal approach for every tune to give each one its own strong identity. We're also extremely happy to have Jonny Petterson (Wombbath Ashcloud, Henry Kane) doing some guest vox on "Ekphora's Day". Last but not least, this is the first studio appearance for our new guitarist Umberto Poncina, who also engineered and mixed the EP."
For fans of MORBID ANGEL, MONSTROSITY, CRUCIAMENTUM.
Some steps lead to saintly aisles, others to the deep chasm of your inner self. The psychotic black metal of Veiled on their first full length ?In Blinding Presence? does both and forms the last part of the triunity to ruin your perception. Dispel your mind with the healing atter and get lost in the weave of the three norns.
Long awaited 3rd album by this truly legendary band from Argentina that plays a unique, original and personal brand of brutal and furious yet technical and heavy Death Metal of stunning quality that blends such varied elements from bands like IMMOLATION, CELTIC FROST, MORBID ANGEL, SEPULTURA, SUFFOCATION, GORGUTS...
Second full length of this mythic Argentina band from the early 90s. This second full length is a bit more experimental than the debut. It shows the class and talent this awesome band had back in the day. This re-release by Disembodied Records includes the "Erradicated Life" EP as bonus track.
Third full length from this Italian Speed/Thrash Metal band including members of HOOB'S ANGEL OF DEATH among others. An absolut old-school manifest of an ultra violent Thrash with a certain dose of Punk and alcoholic vocals. Imagine THE EXPLOITED playing a rancide, raw and dirty Thrash Metal. For fans of VENOM, GEHENNAH, RAZOR, MOTÖRHEAD, BAPHOMET'S BLOOD, etc...
Aaarrggghhh!!. Brand new album by this incredible Swedish Brutal Death Metal force blending raw brutality & technical skills in the style of SUFFOCATION, MONSTROSITY, DEEDS OF FLESH and of course SPAWN OF POSSESSION!!. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Cosmic death/doom from Minneapolis/MN (United States).
Formed in 2017, Void Rot is a death/doom band which draws on bands such as Krypts, Spectral Voice, Convocation and Rippikoulu for inspiration. Void Rot’s debut EP "Consumed by Oblivion" delivers a haunting and crushing atmosphere accentuated by bursts of raw darkness.
For fans of Krypts, Spectral Voice, Rippikoulu, (early) Hooded Menace
Uprising US Death Doom titans VOID ROT will finally land their debut full length upon mankind after an EP and a split with ATAVISMA.
Ominous. Threatening. Crushing.
VOID ROT from Minneapolis MN, USA, formed in 2017 with influences from the glorious progenitors of majestic, atmospheric and slow moving death metal like Winter, Rippikoulu and diSEMBOWELMENT, as well as newer entries within the genre such as Krypts, Spectral Voice and Sempiternal Dusk. Void Rot weave light and darkness seamlessly and with unseen mastery, evoking atmospheres of unparalleled vastness that alternate majestically between sidereal and contemplative psychedelia, and visceral and bludgeoning heaviness.
Some bands are hard to fit into one single style. Formed by members of INSULTERS, VOIDKUSH merge the sound of their infamous band with new influences, a strong Death / Doom feeling, and a hazy vibe in the vein of "Carnival Bizarre" CATHEDRAL. 11 tracks dealing with darkness, witchcraft and the impending void. The executioner's ready, you better run!
The highly anticipated debut full-length from this Greek squad. Hailing from the Black and Death Metal hotbed of Greece, War Possession indeed features a number of scene veterans within their ranks, including current and past members of such bands as Embrace of Thorns, Merciless Crucifixion and Wargoat. Since the band´s beginnings in 2008, they´ve been possessed by an unwavering desire to craft and perform punishing, war-themed Death Metal impervious to trends and modern standards, combining corpulent, ominously slow riffs with blasting brutality soaked in a blackened ambience. References to be made are the olden endeavors of Bolt Thrower, Demigod, Treblinka/Tiamat, Incantation, Therion, Archgoat, Imprecation and Asphyx.
Second full length of the Mexican warriors WARFIELD. A passage of gloomy, fast and grim Black Metal, a cold and intense sonic assault with reminiscences of MARDUK, CRAFT, ENTHRONED, KEEP OF KALESSIN in conspiracy with darkness and blasphemy in a journey that will transport you to the old days where the spiritual torment was the darkest belief of the genuine Black Metal underground.
One of the metal underground?s best-kept secrets, WARLUST began their assault on the false in 2012. The title of their debut demo, 2014?s Unholy Attack, said everything it needed to: here was blackthrashing METAL, steeped in the spirits of old and with genuinely evil blood coursing through its veins. However, it was 2017?s Morbid Execution debut album where WARLUST first truly took flight ? on burning wings of flame! More intense, more epic, more heavy fucking metal, Morbid Execution carried on the noble work started by founding fathers Desaster in their homeland and Deströyer 666, Zemial, and Aura Noir abroad.
ZOMBIEFICATION – or more specifically, its core duo of Mr Hitchcock on vocals and Mr Jacko also in MAJESTIC DOWNFALL on guitars and bass – are back and while they’re still following the same (left hand) path initially carved by their debut ‘Midnight Stench’ as far back as in 2010, they’ve once again decided to take step away from the rest of the cattle and do their own thing. Yes, the original goal was to pay homage to the early SweDeath gods, but after their second album (‘At the Caves of Eternal’), it was clear that rehashing what DISMEMBER and ENTOMBED had done over a decade ago wasn’t satisfying enough for those restless minds always on the outlook for new and more arcane ways of describing the growing darkness around us.
